Nail polish remover - DON'T use acetone! (and my nail design of the day)
Sunday 22 December 2013| 7:15 am | [4]  Comment

Heya! Hope everyone is doing well :)

I want to discuss something important to all the nail addicts out there, which sometimes people don't consider a big deal (me included) but I recently realised what a big deal it really does make!

Naturally I have weak nails, even though I get enough calcium etc, and are quite fragile if I don't layer them with some kind of hardener or nail polish. My mum recently bought these great nail polish remover wipes which are ACETONE FREE and have added vitamin oils. I've been using these for a few weeks now and I have noticed that there are less visible cracks and leaves them well moisturized. I LOVE these!

Here are some pictures to demonstrate:

^Here is the one I am using right now, it comes with 30 pads.

^The pads are actually quite thin but feel quite oily.

^As you can see by the pictures, one pad was just enough for 10 fingers! Just make sure you don't buy cheap wipes.

These wipes leave the nails quite oiled and moisturized. I usually give my hands a rinse with water and soap to get rid of any leftover polish residue. There you have it! Now you can avoid the impacts of acetone for great nails:

^Hope you like this nail design! Nail base colour is orange cream 108 by La Femme in two layers, then Saffron in colour 08.

Overall I really love these. You can find them online for quite affordable prices, I actually recently found another which I got from eBay:

It's blueberry flavoured which makes me super excited to try it out. They're both quite small in size but more than enough substance in it. The one I'm currently using has added vitamin C & E, but the flavoured one doesn't have any added vitamin oils. These are 100% better than using a cotton pad and acetone liquid.

I also think that these are really convenient for when you go on holiday, they're small and just slip into your handbag.

Enjoy growing your healthy nails! Do you think you'd start using these? xx
